Their most recent album Ategnatos is scheduled to be released April 2019.Įxpect a high energy show, with both bands performing a selection of their greatest music and newest releases. The band are known for their remarkable sound, which fuses death metal with melodies of traditional Celtic music. Since their formation in 2002, the band has had an array of steady releases, with their most notable being Slania- their first major-label album which was released in 2008. Joining them as special guests will be Swiss folk metal band Eluveitie. The most- recently released album is Delirium, which came out in 2016. Lacuna Coil have won many awards including 2006 MTV Europe Music Award for Best Italian Act, and more recently the Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards in 2018 for Best Live Act. They embarked on their first headlining US tour in 2003, and the rest is history. The band are pioneers of Europe’s metal scene, and their breakthrough album Comalies (2002) put them into America’s spotlight. With over 20 years in the business and a highly successful carear with 10 albums to show for it, the band are embarking on a huge European tour to celebrate their journey. Famous for their gothic music and artistry, band members are known for their detached sound with contrasting female/male vocals and prominent guitar lines. Since their formation in 1994, the band has been previously names Sleep of Right and Ethereal. Gothic Metal band Lacuna Coil hail from Milan, Italy.
